Benzini Lebanon ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Benzini mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
Location Data: We may use and store information about your location if you give us permission to do so. We use this data to provide features of our Service (finding nearby fuel stations, EV charging points, and real-time community radar alerts). You can enable or disable location services at any time through your device settings.
Marketplace Data: If you post a listing on our Marketplace, we collect the vehicle details, photos you upload, and the WhatsApp number you provide. This information is public and intended to facilitate contact between buyers and sellers.
Community Reports: When you report a speed radar or traffic event, your current GPS coordinates and user ID are stored on our servers to share the alert with the community. These reports are public.
Device Information: We collect information about the mobile device you use to access the Service, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Local-Only Data (Privacy Guaranteed): Your car's license plate number and detailed service logs are stored ONLY locally on your device. We do not transmit, see, or store this data on our servers.
Our app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
Marketplace listings remain on our servers for 14 days or until deleted by the user. Community radar reports are automatically expired and removed after 1 hour to ensure map accuracy.
To protect our community, we maintain a blacklist of User IDs (UIDs) who violate our marketplace rules or community standards. Banned users are prohibited from posting new content or submitting reports.
